Goals give you directions.You may have a lot of goals for different areas of life including those New years resolutions you made but following God should be your primary, overarching goal.
You don't know the year ahead will bring,but if the Lord determines your steps and you are following where he leads, you can be sure that your life will have purpose.In addiction when uou keep your eyes on the goal,you will not stray from God, regardless of what difficulties you encounter.
this message reminds me of the 1000 blog post that is my goal and my eye is still on God.
